Church at Hellnar, Snaefellsnes Peninsula, Iceland
The church at Hellnar on the Snæfellsnes peninsula in western Iceland stands before the Snæfellsjökull volcano and glacier, thought to be one of the major energy centers of earth. French writer Jules Verne chose it as the entrance in his novel "Journey to the Center of the Earth."
