Rio Grande Gorge Bridge, Taos, NM

Known locally as the "Gorge Bridge," this cantilever truss structure is the fifth highest bridge in the United States. Ten miles northwest of Taos, it rises 650 feet above the Rio Grande River, which flows at the bottom of an immense rock canyon.
